For Patients with:

Mild to Moderate Hearing Loss

I have been wearing hearing aids since the 1950s, but it wasn’t until I found Highline Hearing Professionals that I really learned about them. I found Highline about 20 years ago, and for the first time, things were explained to me. I found I had choices for hearing aids and did not have to just take the one that the doctor wanted to sell me. Everyone at Highline is very knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. They work hard to fit you with just the right one. And they have a follow-up and maintenance program that really helps. Give them a try, and I am sure you will like them as much as I do.

Overview of Invisible Hearing Aids

Invisible-in-the-Canal hearing aids pack clarity and power into the tiniest of packages — a hearing device so small, they will only be noticed if someone knows you’re wearing them. Look, feel, and hear your best with devices that enhance your ability to perform the activities you love.

Features of IIC hearing aids include the most advanced sound-processing and noise-reduction technology available, meaning you’re ready for all situations. Your invisible hearing system will do all the work for you, adjusting automatically to whatever environment you’re in and making it easier for you to pay attention to the people and things you really care about rather than the hearing aids you’re wearing.

Special Care/Maintenance

Your ear canal produces earwax (cerumen) which may clog the earpiece, so your hearing instruments contain a changeable filter to prevent wax accumulation. Follow the instructions of your hearing care provider or manufacturer for changing filters.

Daily cleaning using a soft cloth and multi-tool should become a regular part of your daily routine. Your multi-tool also includes a magnet, which helps make it easier to change the batteries on your device.

Frequently Asked Questions About IIC Hearing Aids

Do IIC hearing aids include the latest in hearing aid technology?
Digital technology, including feedback eliminating technology, noise reduction, speech preservation and more.
How do they differ from the Lyric hearing aids?
Lyric hearing aids are similar to extended wear contacts, but are tiny hearing aids inserted and removed by an ENT or doctor of audiology approximately every 3 to 4 months. They are analog devices without the latest digital technology and are not custom formed to fit the unique contours of your ear canal.
Am I a candidate for Invisible Hearing Aids?
Anyone but those with more advanced hearing loss is a candidate for Invisible Hearing Aids. Your hearing care professional will provide the guidance you need regarding whether or not IIC devices are the right solution for you.
Can I wear my IIC device 24/7?
IIC hearing aids are designed to be removed daily for better ear health.
Can I shower or swim with them in?
Water is the enemy of all types of electronics, so swimming or showering while wearing your hearing aids is not recommended.
